I hope you enjoy browsing through what I have done so far.
Whether it be through the design itself, the use of different species of woods, or the "character" of a particular piece of wood, I endeavor to make each item a unique work of art.
Some items may be for sale. If you see one that interests you, feel free to contact me about it.

Wormy Chestnut Candle Runner

This five candle runner is made a from reclaimed wormy chestnut barn beam. The feet are made from black walnut. It is finished with Danish oil to bring out the unique look and character of the reclaimed wood. I did a minimal amount of milling on the wood in order to rpeserve the distinct character of the barn beam it was taken from. This is definitely a unique piece.

This is one of the most unique pieces I have created. This spectacular looking wall sconce is made from salvaged book matched spalted maple. Bookmatching is done by placing a piece of wood on edge and splitting it down the middle. The freshly exposed surfaces are mirror images of one another. Spalted wood is highly prized due to its inescapably unique and beautiful patterns. An owner of a piece made with any type of spalted wood can rest assured that he has a completely unique and one-of-a-kind work of art. That is doubly true with this piece due to the bookmatching. The bottles are held to the sconces by a leather strap, friction, and gravity. They look great with flowers or floral arrangements and would also look good with battery powered LED lights in them. The sconces are finished with Danish oil.
Dimensions: 16"L x 5 3/4"W
